Let’s Get Away!

Another day in Lisbon gave me a chance to explore smaller villages outside of the city.

I decided to try out a maxi skirt for the day and am glad I did. It was the perfect garment for commuting to these villages. The weather was also on my side as there was just enough of a slight breeze throughout the day to help with the flow of my skirt.

Definitely a big shout out to my partner in crime, Marcela, for the shoulder bag I used through out the day! The pop of orange brought out the colors in my skirt and brightened up my outfit.

Lisbon was a wonderful city and I definitely will come back some point in my life!

Find Your Dreams Come True

Okay, so I know it has been a while since we have posted an outfit for the day (my apologies) but it’s time to start the summer series of posts!

So I am currently out of the country studying abroad to my adventure in Spain (still cannot believe this is happening!!). But my journey there has included a little pit stop in Lisbon, Portugal!

My first day here has consisted of sightseeing with my family. We decided to discover the city for ourselves and I knew this would mean I needed to be comfortable! I didn’t want my outfit to scream TOURIST so I made sure to dress up my  Urban Outfitters sneaks by pairing them with my blush lace blazer and burnt rose shorts.

All in all the day was successful. I frolicked throughout the streets of Lisbon without looking out of place but had an outfit which was picture perfect ready!

Four Ways on a Friday: Take me on a trip, I’d like to go someday!

Four Ways On a Friday: Travel Edition

Hey Everyone!

So recently traveling has been on my mind so I decided to do a Four Ways on a Friday: Travel Edition! Anyone would agree that it is important to be comfortable when traveling but don’t forget to be fashionable. From what I’ve seen in all of my traveling adventures people are sometimes too comfortable (pj’s and a sweatshirt) or a bit overdressed (heels and a fancy dress). Why not just meet and in the middle and have the best of both worlds. I recently traveled with harem pants and loved it! So I decided to use a similar pant as inspiration for my Four Ways on a Friday!  What is a travel must for you?

Spaz- Four Ways on a Friday

Spaz
It’s been years… and I apologize! But I’m back, it’s summer time, and there is much to post! But anyways, the other day I was doing errands and took a pit stop to cruise around the mall (aka I couldn’t resist temptation and had to look for potential purchases). I’ve always been about the patterns, whether making a statement or mixing them, I’m all about it. For this weeks four ways I wanted to have a variety of ways to rock the patterns. It can be either sassy shorts or subtle shoes to a funky purse. Find whatever feels comfortable and WORK!

Hello All!

Sorry I have delayed putting up my pictures for 30×30! As Marcela already filled you in with what are challenge is going to be for the next 30 days I’m going to try and create cute ensembles throughout the next coming month. This first week of school was a bit peculiar as Monday and Tuesday were freezing then it suddenly became very toasty Wednesday through Friday! Anyway I managed to make it work! Hope you enjoy! Four Ways on a Friday- Maxi Skirt

Four Ways on a Friday- Maxi Skirt
Hey All!
Okay so I was never the one to get excited about the Spring season, but as the weather is starting to warm up and the bright colors are emerging, I can’t wait for the Spring time air! My Four ways on a Friday for today  was inspired by the flowy and airy atmosphere of Spring. As I was creating different looks I realized maxi skirts can work not only for the day but for a night time look as well! What clothing items remind you of Spring?

Something Good Can Work

Hey Hey!

Okay so the last time I wore my lace maxi skirt I was in Africa and it was summer! Tucson has been a bit toasty these past couple of days so I figured, why not bust this skirt out for a day! I paired my skirt with an H&M jean jacket and scarf from Last Chance [could potentially be one of the best stores, if you go on the right day…] I kind of felt like a semi gypsy with the golden bangles and ring! But anyways, although I’m a bit disappointed that winter lasted two weeks in Tucson I’m excited to start the spring season and wear more maxi skirts/dresses!

Could you be loved?

Hello All,

So as I write this post I am listening to Bob Marley (hence my title)… But the other day Marcela posted the outfit she wore on Valentine’s Day and here was mine. As I was rummaging through my closet I noticed I have barely any pink or red shirts which is tragic! I definitely need to add some color to my wardrobe as Spring time approaches! But I luckily had this red scarf to wear and I paired it with my faded Levi jeans and Charlotte Russe boots that I got on sale! Side note: I’m all about getting things on sale and it is very difficult for me to buy something for full price… but anyways…

With Spring coming what are you must have items?

Four Ways on a Friday – Wide leg jeans

Four Ways on a Friday
Hey Everyone!
Recently I have been obsessing over wide leg jeans. I never used to be the biggest fan, but the other day I bought a pair (on sale of course) and fell in love! In my opinion, wide leg jeans should be a must for us girls who have long legs (like me!). This week for Four Ways on a Friday each item of the outfit is $50 or less, so if you’re inclined to like something it’s affordable! But anyways, what is your must-have item at the moment?
